Trip Options & Pricing

We offer a range of trips designed to meet different needs, from shorter local outings to extended Lake Michigan fishing adventures.

Standard Trip – $750

• Duration: 6 hours (AM) or 5 hours (PM)
• Capacity: 1–4 anglers included; $75 each additional angler (up to 6 total)
• Best For: Families, groups of friends, or anyone wanting a half-day on the lake chasing salmon and trout.

Extended Trip – 8 Hours – $1,000

• Capacity: 1–4 anglers included; $75 each additional angler (up to 6 total)
• Best For: Anglers seeking more time on the water and greater chances to land multiple species.

Extended Trip – 10 Hours – $1,200

• Capacity: 1–4 anglers included; $75 each additional angler (up to 6 total)
• Best For: Hardcore fishing enthusiasts who want the ultimate full-day experience.

Sheephead Trip – 3 Hours – $450

• Location: Muskegon Lake
• Capacity: Up to 6 anglers
• Best For: Families with kids or groups looking for fast action and fun on the lake without committing to a longer offshore trip.
  

Evening Cruise – 2 Hours – $350

• Capacity: 1–6 passengers
• Fishing: None (relaxation cruise only)
• First Mate: Not included
• Best For: Sunset sightseeing, small celebrations, or relaxing time on Lake Michigan.
  

Booking Details

To secure your preferred date(s), we require a $250 deposit at the time of booking. This ensures your spot on the calendar and allows us to prepare for your trip.

• Deposit: $250 (applied to your final balance)
• Payments Accepted: Cash, Venmo, Debit/Credit Card*
• Balance Due: At the end of your trip
• First Mate Gratuity: Customary tip is 20–25% of the trip rate



*Please note: A 3% processing fee applies to debit/credit card transactions.

Our mate works hard to ensure your charter runs smoothly, from setting lines to netting fish and cleaning your catch. Gratuity goes directly to your mate in appreciation for their service.

Departure Times

We aim to maximize your success and enjoyment by fishing during peak bite windows.

• Morning Charters: Depart before sunrise to catch the early bite. Departure time will be confirmed at booking.
• Afternoon Charters: Typically depart at 3:00 PM, unless other arrangements are made.

Departure is from our dock at 1204 W Western Ave, Muskegon, MI.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, but as a small business, cancellations affect us significantly. Please review our cancellation terms before booking.

• Customer Cancellations: If you cancel within 7 days of your trip, your deposit will be forfeited.
• Weather Cancellations: All weather-related cancellations are at the discretion of Captain Dan. If conditions are unsafe to fish, we will reschedule your trip or issue a refund of your deposit. Your safety is our top priority.
